Dropping in at your local phone store for a new phone may appear a simple moment in time but to create those phones a massive industry is behind it and those industries use billions upon billions of tons of the planets resources to create them. Now imagine this a million times over for every single item of technology created.
Massive damage has already been done. Plants and the lives of innocent animals have been taken to create this technology. The air, the sun, the wind, water and food are all heavily influenced negatively but you can help, yes YOU.
What is recycling?
Recycling is getting each part of your old tech, stripping it down and reusing the parts. For example a processor has many different components. Gold, Nikel, Silver, Copper, Plastic, Silicone. Each of these components can be extracted and used again to create another objects. One example of the gold recycled from processors if more than often used to create other processors and the gold is often used for gold tooth fillings.
